This conversation is between Professor Doctor Sylvester James Gates Jr., a Theoretical Physicist who serves on President Obama’s Council on Science and Technology, who’s administration is, by the way, embracing the Hour of Code campaign to teach computer programming in every school grades K-12, and Astrophysicist Dr. Neil deGrass Tyson. Do we live in a holographic universe? Are we awakening as a species and beginning to see the architecture of reality?
Dr. deGrasse Tyson:
Are you saying your attempt to understand the fundamental operations of nature leads you to a set of equations that are indistinguishable from the equations that drive search engines and browsers on our computers?
Dr. Sylvester James Gates:
That is correct.
Dr. deGrasse Tyson:
So your saying as you dig deeper you find computer code writ in the fabric of the cosmos?
Dr. James Gates:
Into the equations that we once used to describe the cosmos…yes.
Dr. Tyson:
Computer code?
Drr. James Gates
Yes, computer code. Strings of bits of 1s and 0s.
Again, let’s ask the questions: Do we live in a holographic universe? Are we awakening as a species and beginning to see the architecture of reality?
Red Pill or Blue pill?
